Most Democrats Are Good People, They Just Don’t Do Math

At a meeting I attended a couple years ago some fine ‘real’ conservative Republicans were speaking about how sorry some Democrats in the community were with their touting big government and its endless wonderful programs being so good for us.  I had to speak up and mentioned that most Democrats probably are really not bad people and many are God-fearing people. They just can’t, or refuse to do math. Which got some chuckles.

Actually, a lot of elected Republicans who do understand math are not true to their oaths they’ve sworn to when they took office.  So there ya’ go, there is a lot of blame to go around. Businesses succeed competitively best in the freest of market climates, and what we have had for a lot of years most certainly hasn’t been one!  The survival of our remaining commerce really is an incredible testimonial to American businessmen’s resiliency under the strained conditions of crippling taxes and regulations, however thousands of our businesses were shuttered due to shear government meddling.

The point is that not only has the effect of too many overwhelming taxes, expensive regulations and laws choked the life out of our businesses but believe it or not much of that crippling was intentional by a government run by socialists who wanted to take down our successful capitalist republic and turn it into a member state of a global government run by unaccountable, unelected global power elitists who know best for everyone about everything.

States Tom Fitton from Judicial Watch in his book ‘Corruption Chronicles,’ “The American People are a unique people. We want to live our own lives, and we want the government to enforce and follow the rules and get out of our way. That’s what separates us from Europe.

As Mark Steyn writes in his book  ‘After America,’ “The United States is still different. In the wake of the economic meltdown, the decadent youth of France rioted over the most modern of proposals to increase the retirement age. Elderly ‘students’ in Britain attacked the heir to the throne’s car over footling attempts to constrain bloated, wasteful, and pointless ‘university’ costs. Everywhere from Iceland to Bulgaria angry mobs besieged their parliaments demanding the same thing: Why didn’t you the government do more for me?

“America was the only nation in the developed world where millions of people took to the streets to tell the state: I can do just fine if you control-freak statists would shove your non-stimulating stimulus, your jobless jobs bill, and your multimillion-dollar porkathons, and just stay the hell out of my life and my pocket.

“Right now, America stands on the brink of a complete government takeover in virtually every major sector of the economy, and most people don’t even know that it’s happening. We at Judicial Watch know, but only because we dedicate the bulk of our waking minutes to pushing the Obama administration to release as much information as possible related to Obama’s socialist remaking of America. Restoration of what makes our republic great starts with a step: getting informed. Once you realize what the Obama administration is up to in those secret back rooms, you recognize and address any threats to our republic. It’s into those back rooms that we travel next. To quote George Will: ‘The administration’s central activity – the political allocation of wealth and opportunity – is not merely susceptible to corruption, it is corruption.” – Unquote Mark Steyn

Yes, we love our Democrats, most of them, because they really are pretty good people and they are Americans. They just can’t understand the math. Socialism has never succeeded in the history of the world. It has always run out of other peoples’ money and handicaps the hell out of business and our freedoms in the meantime. We kind of pity Democrats for their math handicaps and one other big handicap. They really don’t deal well with truth based on historical, hard, original facts.

As for our RINO Republicans, we feel mostly disappointment and disdain.

We are experiencing the utter death of common sense in America when you realize the overwhelming onslaught to our way of life by government itself and most Americans’ apathetic refusal to pay attention to how their elected representatives are voting with our Constitution in order to keep America truly free and competitive.

American patriots must study issues, inform others, follow the Freedom Indexes for the U.S. Congress at thenewamerican.com/freedom-indexand for the state of Idaho at IdahoFreedomIndex.com and fire elected officials who are not following our rule of law through the Constitution.

There is no other way to right our absolute mess. Presidents, congressmen and senators created this boondoggle we’ve become and they must pay for it by being replaced at the ballot box, ending their political careers and being replaced with real accountable patriots who understand the Constitution and take their oaths to it seriously.
